robinsonphotoart.com: About Me

Portrait: Jeff Robinson

I have been enjoying photography for many years and I received my first SLR camera, a Pentax K1000, in 1978.

I am retired from the US Air Force and I currently live in a small town near Dallas Texas. My professional work life has taken me to many places throughout the United States and to many countries on several continents. I have experienced the extreme cold in the northern area of Finland, within a few miles of the Arctic Circle in January, to having lived in Bahrain (the Middle East) enduring the intense heat in the summer.

I am a graduate of the New York Institute of Photography and I have studied photography at Virginia Intermont College. In addition, I have a A.A.S. Degree in Aerospace. I have taken numerous photography and photo editing seminars over the years. My images have been published by the United States Air Force, Lockheed Martin and the Fort Worth Zoo.
